This important training period allows new players to try out for roster and position spots and gives established players practice time prior to competitive play. Spring training is also a great time for fans to watch their favorite teams warm up for the season, especially as so many national teams and players choose to practice right here in the Sunshine State. JetBlue Park in Fort Myers is the Red Sox spring-training stadium. The stadium is just like a smaller version of the Red Sox’ very own Fenway Park and just a long fly ball away from the airport.
