It’s that time of year again in South Florida where everyone is starting to plan their fall and winter parties. halloween-2 Of course we’ve heard of the classic songs that kept us all be-bopping to the music a gazillion years ago. But, do the kids know who sings the “The Monster Mash”? They will still enjoy these vintage songs most likely but kids are more prone to love what’s hot and trending. Here’s a list of great tunes that you can play at your next kid-friendly Halloween Party that will ‘smash the Monster Mash’!
  1. “Thriller” by Michael Jackson never gets old
  2. Beyonce’s “Haunted” and who doesn’t love the Queen B?
  3. Sharon Needles and Rupaul “This Club is a Haunted House”
  4. “Zombie” by Natalia Kills is a bit dark but can be really cool.

TV’s Influence on Bounce Houses

Shows such as Wipeout and American Ninja Warrior have stolen the hearts of both athletes and enthusiasts throughout the country. Long after shows like these are gone, another form of competing will appear. These shows have great influence on the inflatable rental business since so many people love the obstacle course themes. Not only are these a great way to entertain your guests, they’re an excellent resource for aerobics and cardio activity making them the ideal athletic pastime. Take a look at this blog to learn more. The physical and mental limits are tested on shows such as Spartan Race where the contestants test their agility by participating in this intense obstacle course. They even have a kids race where children compete to finish the race. The kids set goals and then perform by running, jumping and crawling through mud. Sounds like every day, huh? The Spartan Race is a great way for kids to get into shape and gain self-esteem. Don’t flip through the channels too fast, or you might miss it! OCR.tv is a new site that offers several obstacle course races for you to become familiar. Err on caution as they take obstacle courses seriously on this site. Man-made waterslides, rope climbing and plenty of crawling is what you’ll catch as these mega-athletes compete. “Wipeout” stole the hearts of the nation when it was first introduced in 2008. Since its inception people have been entertained by watching people dodge giant orbs balls and running all kinds of challenging courses. Our Wipeout Bounce Course offers a similar challenge. The ABC show is undoubtedly missed since its completion in 2014. Of course, NBC got on board with American Ninja Warrior which proves to be a big hit today. The sports entertainment business continues to delight viewers in South Florida across the US. A spin off of the Japanese show “Sasuke”, this is show where athletes of all types compete to complete the many challenges of the obstacle course to the finish line. With all the craze going on with these shows it’s pretty safe to assume we enjoy watching the obstacle course activity. The other point to make is that these courses are for strengthening and showing ones’ agility. Bounce House Cleanliness and Safety

Want to rent a fresh and clean bounce house for your next party in Boca, Pompano, Broward or Palm Beach? Read on… 

The next time you look into renting a bounce house for your party or your event,  ask the company what they do to ensure the unit is clean and sanitized.  Many companies claim to have the cleanest attractions. We take extra precaution after every rental.  We do this first by sweeping, then vacuuming finish with soap and water and disinfectant.

The disinfectant that we use is a non-toxic cleaner.  It’s important to wash with Matt-Clean or Simple Green.  The it’s disinfected with Lysol or Clorox.  We make every effort to give the surface a complete scrub and pay attention to detail when it comes to our vinyl playhouses.   

The bounce house needs to have all windows, seems, and any exposed material be thoroughly wiped down with the disinfectant.  It’s recommended to offer hand sanitizer to your children before and after they enter the interior of dry bounce houses.

The bounce house should look clean and new.  If it looks faded with a lot of scuff marks, it’s possible the material is old.  What kid wants a dingy looking unit in his front yard?

Keeping our customers happy is important to us.  But what’s more, important is you and your child’s safety.  An attendant may need to be present for larger units.  It’s important that a bounce house company offers enough staff to be present to spot children from falling over the edges.  Children should never be unattended while playing and enjoying these attractions. 

The other issue with safety is proper tie downs and equipment when securing the unit to the ground.  Last summer the bounce house that became airborne during a water spout on a Fort Lauderdale beach wasn’t securely tightened.  It’s not recommended to allow children to use these inflatables during inclement weather.  We tell that parents don’t allow this either, there are more concerns such as lightning that can be of danger.
