1st At the end of every school year, write your child a letter and put it inside of an envelope. Include $20-50 and then seal it up and keep it in a safety box with a lock. When your child is 18, think of how much fun they’ll have when reading the letters as well as getting an excellent graduation gift!

2nd Get your kids to eat a healthy diet by promoting organic vegetables and fruit arranged to make funny faces, little houses or anything else your creative mind can conjure.

3rd Throw a pajama party once a month and host it in your living room campground. Help your kids and their guests construct cool looking tents out of blankets, sheets, and chairs. 5th Teach children manners, you’ll be glad you did. Not only is it important for children to grow up understanding rules and to abide by moral values such as being kind and polite, but it’s also right for home. Kids who are taught respect, discipline and being selfless can go along the way for the rest of the family.

These are a few life hacks that can help make life more pleasant for both you and your child. Practice every day finding some improvement. At the end of the year, you’ll have less stress and anxiety, and your kids will learn valuable lessons.

Host a Labor Day BBQ Right!

Ahhh the smell of food grilling and the excitement from the last of the fireworks, you know Labor Day is here once again. If you plan on hosting a barbeque this year, then we’ve got three excellent tips to make your event incredible. First tip: Be Prepared! Since we are knee deep into hurricane season in South Florida, be sure to have a weather app with notifications. Apps such as Accuweather help to keep you alert when there’s rough terrain ahead when it comes to rain or shine. Be sure to plan your party centered around things like the heat index and any other issues that could arise. We Floridians know and plan accordingly with an alternative to taking the fun outdoors. Don’t limit your fun, just be sure to prepare to host indoors if you get washed out. For instance, host a Wii tournament or some other contest that’s suitable for the indoor activity.

Next tip: Invite old friends and get re-acquainted. If there’s someone you haven’t had the time to see in a while, then ask them to join. Keeping friendships is important no matter who you are, and a BBQ is the ideal setting for sparking up some memories and conversation.
